Macintosh ≠ MAC

On écrit «Mac» et non pas «MAC». Ce n’est pas un acronyme de quoi que ce soit, c’est une simple abréviation. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi une forte majorité des «PC Users» s’acharne à vouloir écrire «MAC» de cette façon continuellement… >_<
Sans oublier que ça porte à confusion avec l’acronyme Machine Access Code utilisé en réseautique (MAC Address par exemple)
